The Minnesota Ki Society is once again offering two products to raise money for the MNKS scholarship fund. All proceeds from these sales will go to provide scholarships to Minnesota Ki Society students for programs and seminars, including travel expenses for regional and national seminars. This year we are offering both the Freshwater Society's beautiful Minnesota Weatherguide Environmental Calendar, and the Chinook Book resource and coupon book.  The Weatherguide calendars are full if great information about weather, water, astronomy and back-yard nature. They make great gifts. This year, we are offering wall calendars for $16.95 each. If you need a calendar, I recommend this one. To learn more about the Freshwater Society, visit their web site at www.freshwater.org  The Chinook Book is a coupon book and more. It is filled with resources and ideas for sustainable living, and focuses on eco-friendly and community-friendly businesses. Businesses with coupons include grocery, dining, entertainment, travel, garden and home. If you shop at local co-ops, like to support small scale-local businesses, or enjoy eating out the book will quickly pay for itself. Chinook Books are available for $20 each.
